Competition Photo Gallery

The Competition is a biennial event, sponsored by the Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival and funded through private contributions and foundation grants. The second international competition in 2006 drew entries from 16 states and Italy, Russia, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic. The Finalist ensembles, from New York, Colorado, California and Italy, include two piano trios, two string quartets, and a wind quintet. They will perform in a live competition at the Avalon Theatre on March 25, 2006 and each will appear in concert on March 26.
