WHO:	The Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition, announces its 2008 International Competition for instrumental ensembles of 3 to 5 members. The average of the ages of ensemble members must be less than 31. The Competition, sponsored by the Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival, is advised by a panel of outstanding chamber musicians and academicians.
WHAT:	The Competition offers emerging musicians new performance opportunities, financial rewards, and recognized musical credentials. Gold Medalist: $10,000 and performance at the 23rd Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival in June 2008. Silver Medalist: $5,000 Additional prizes and awards. Presenting organizations will attend to audition finalists for other performances
WHEN:	Applications with audition CD to be submitted by November 30, 2007. Finalists will be invited to perform before an audience at the Avalon Theatre in Easton, MD on Saturday, March 29, 2008 and in concerts on March 30, 2008.
WHERE:	Live performances at Avalon Theatre, Easton, MD and vicinity.
